Where might we encounter it?

LOGISTICS / Company-reported operating application

Amazon describes Proteus as an autonomous mobile robot used to move carts in its operations. It illustrates a bounded job: transporting material in a designed workplace. It does not establish that the same machine could navigate an unfamiliar home. [6]

AGRICULTURE / Commercial product

Blue River Technology describes See & Spray as using cameras and learned models to distinguish plants and trigger targeted spraying. It connects perception to physical action without needing a humanoid body. Performance depends on the product, crops and operating conditions; supplier claims should be read as such. [7]

MANIPULATION / Research demonstrations

Google DeepMind shows robotic systems responding to instructions and manipulating objects. These demonstrations help explain the research direction. They do not, by themselves, prove dependable operation in a hospital, shop or home. [1]

Healthcare, infrastructure and public safety

These remain important areas of inquiry. A useful evaluation must identify the exact product, task, level of human control and evidence. A remotely operated inspection tool or surgeon-controlled instrument should not automatically be described as autonomous Physical AI.

Selection is illustrative, not a market ranking or endorsement. Potential uses are not equivalent to validated deployments.
